I used this with my readers who are above grade level. Although some of the words they are already familiar with, it has been very engaging in teaching them HOW to use context clues and exposing them to passages like they will see on state testing next year. Love this resource and bought more of them!

This is a wonderful resource to use when teaching context clues. I used it in my tutorial classroom to teach context clues to students who struggle with reading. The questions not only ask for the meaning of a word but it ask what context clue was used to provide the meaning of the word. My students were challenged.
