These editable (the greeting and signature fields are the ONLY editable portion of the letters) end-of-year letters to students and parents include encouraging messages that teachers can send home to parents as well as a letter that teachers can send home with students (each letter contains a different message and is ORIGINAL).
The letter to parents comes with a boy, girl, and gender-neutral version (the pronouns are changed throughout the letter). This letter has three color background options and similar backgrounds in black and white.
The letter to students comes with three color background options and the corresponding backgrounds in black and white. Note: This letter does not require a boy/girl option since the teacher uses the pronouns “you” and “I” throughout the letter.
All versions of each letter have editable text boxes in the Greeting Field and the Signature Field. You can edit these two places on each letter if you choose. If you’d like to print the letters as is, you may write in the student’s name and your signature. Just for reference, the font is Miss Kindergarten by Kimberly Geswein.
ALL THE LETTERS ARE ORIGINAL! I did NOT copy a letter that I found online and retype it. This is important because you may want to mix things up and send a new letter home this year.
You will also find a GOOGLE Slides option to send paperless letters remotely (via email or through Google). Look at the final page of the GOOGLE SLIDES FILE for instructions on sending these end-of-year letters remotely!

This is everything you could need and more. The titles are awesome, and the activities are so well done. My kids loved it across both of my grades. Wow!

This resource doesn’t take much time to prep. I made copies on color paper, cut, and laminated them so I could store them for future use. Each morning, I share an affirmation that I feel my students can relate to and I have them share their feelings or point of view on the affirmation. I post each day’s affirmation on the wall near the classroom door, and we reference past ones as needed. My goal is to have a wall of affirmations by the end of the school year.

I love ALLLLL of your resources and this one is no exception! I use these (laminated) Yoga cards to reference when either myself or another student is leading the class in Brain Breaks in between subjects.
My class does Daily Affirmations, and these cards create great conversation starters as well as reminders. They enhance our Growth Mindset board so beautifully and help keep me on track when I start to feel frustrated. Print, laminate a set for your wall, and have kids copy them into a journal. Such a great boost to start the day!
The task cards work wonderfully in literacy centers. They provide quick review and serve to upgrade student’s writing. Environment skill support is essential, and the anchor charts provide the scaffolding needed by many.
Getting to the main idea of a passage can be difficult for some students. Use this digital, as I did, for morning work or homework. Print out the PDF version and work small group.

I loved everything in this resource. My fifth graders loved the flipbook. They reflected and practiced self-awareness, which is something we covered in SEL. I did this at the end of the year as a fun activity.
These task cards are set-up for easy use by the students in the Google classroom. The text is engaging and with the recommendation for 3rd grade to 6th grade, all students have an opportunity to have success.

These letters were beautifully written and expressed all the emotions I was feeling. The only issue I had was that I looped with half of my students and the letter mentions “new space” and “new teacher.” Additionally, I have TKs mixed in with my Kinders, which means I’ll have them again next year for Kinder so the closing of the letter wasn’t applicable in my situation. It won’t apply to them again next year because I’ll essentially be looping with them so the beginning of the letter won’t work for us. I wish there was an editable page so that we could cater small details like the examples mentioned, to our specific circumstances. For example, I would’ve wanted to be able to just take out the “new” so that I can say “be your teacher again.” Anyway, I know many teachers don’t normally loop with their students so I just have a special scenario and would still recommend this product.
