This irregular verbs task cards and anchor charts activity provides the rules and explanations for irregular verbs for 2nd and 3rd grade.
This irregular verbs file includes:
- Three anchor charts (informational pages)
- 36 task cards with varying question types
- An answer sheet
- An answer keys
- Two-page study sheet with all the irregular verbs in the pack
If your students are struggling with irregular verbs or if irregular verbs are new to them, the study sheets are a handy tool you can copy for them to take home.

LOVE these task cards! The kids had a great time going around the room in pairs trying to solve each problem. I split the cards up into two days. I did #1-18 on day one and #19-36 on day two. It made the activity a lot less intimidating with all 36 cards. Excellent resource!
