These Character Traits are perfect for Kindergarten through 3rd grade and can be used during any time of year to encourage and recognize students’ positive traits.
These awards include 34 different character traits and would be particularly timely at the end of the year before you send your students off for summer vacation.
This file includes a full-color version and a black-and-white version. There are several different kids on the awards, but there IS A GIRL VERSION AND A BOY VERSION OF EACH character trait award.
This file includes EDITABLE text boxes for the name of the student, the signature line, and the date line. The snippet about each character trait is NOT editable.
You can print them as is and write on those lines, or you can type in those editable fields.

I purchased these and think they are great but I am bothered that there are 4 girl awards that have a little girl with a head scarf on. This is not a cultural symbol it is a religious symbol and I cannot use 4 of the awards because I cannot give an award with a child wearing a religious symbol to a child who does not practice that religion. There are not little girls wearing a cross necklace or little boys wearing yarmulke. I understand you might think it is cultural but we have a number of students in our school who do have headscarves and this is a reflection of their religion it is not cultural. I am sad I cannot use 4 of the awards due to the religious nature of the award.

I loved this resource for the end of the year awards during our graduation. There were many traits and characters to choose from, and I had no trouble picking out the right one for each student. I was also able to write a personal note on the back of each award.
