SHADES OF MEANING TASK CARDS AND ANCHOR CHARTS ACTIVITY:
These shades of meaning task cards and anchor charts are Common Core aligned for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
This shades of meaning activity includes:
- four instructional pages (anchor charts with explanations of shades of meaning adjectives)
- 36 task cards with three different questions types
- an answer sheet
- an answer key
Shades of meaning can be confusing for students and this product provides criteria and practice for understanding the intensity of different adjectives.
CONTEXT CLUES TASK CARDS AND ANCHOR CHARTS ACTIVITY:
These context clues task cards and activities were created for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. It requires students to use context to make meaning and identify the words or phrases that helped them understand the meaning of an unknown word.
This context clues task cards product includes:
- anchor charts that will help students identify clues in text
- 34 task cards on half sheets
- answer sheet
- answer key
These task cards can be used in stations, small groups, centers, or for early finishers and includes the answer sheets as well as the answer keys.
HOMOPHONES TASK CARDS AND LIST:
This Homophones activity was created for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students.
This file includes:
- a 10-page list of upper-level homophones (over 260 words with definitions)
- 36 task cards
- an answer sheet
- an answer key
The assumption is that students have been introduced to homophones in the primary grades before their introduction to this product. Lower-level homophones lists and task cards are available in my store if needed.
CAUSE AND EFFECT TASK CARDS AND ANCHOR CHARTS ACTIVITY:
These cause-and-effect activities with anchor charts and task cards are common core aligned for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
This product includes:
- four instructional pages (an explanation of cause and effect as well as a trick to remember which part is the cause and which part is the effect)
- 36 task cards
- an answer sheet
- an answer key
The instructional pages will clear up cause and effect confusion if students work independently on the task cards. Use this product in stations, small groups, whole class, centers, or for early finishers.
GENRES OF LITERATURE TASK CARDS AND ANCHOR CHARTS ACTIVITY:
This genres of literature posters and task cards activity now includes a digital distance learning option in Google Slides and Google Forms.
These Genres of Literature Task Cards and Instructional Anchor Charts are Common Core aligned for 3rd-6th Grade and include the following genres of literature:
- biography
- autobiography
- narrative non-fiction
- expository non-fiction
- fairy tales
- fantasy
- folk tales
- science fiction
- historical fiction
- fables, poetry
- tall tales
- realistic fiction
