This was a good resource for reenforcing personification. My students liked the anchor chart and enjoyed reading the enclosed texts.

Thanks-my kids enjoyed it! It was just what I needed!

  3. Kathryn P. –

I used this with some older students who needed a review. It worked well because it allowed them to access previous learning without reteaching the whole topic.

  4. Tamela H. –

This resource was very helpful when working with my students!

  5. Brandy Withers at Firstie Kidoodles –

I used these task cards as skill practice for my 3rd graders in the form of a game called Scoot! Each student has a task card that stays at the top of their desk. Each child answers the question on their task card at their desk. When the chime rings, they take their paper and pencil and scoot one seat to the left and repeat. It’s a good way to get kids moving and make the activity seem more game like. Thank you!

Excellent resource to use in centers when teaching figurative language. Thank you for sharing.

  9. Sinead B. –

I used this resource and found it very helpful. My issue is that I bought this resource in January ’23 and I purchased it for cheaper than the sale price is now in August. I paid 2 euro for it and that wasn’t a sale price then.

    • Kirsten Tulsian –

It was a promo deal… you got it on one particular day that a group of sellers were running $2 deals ( we each chose 5 products to mark down to $2 on that particular day). That day, you got over 50% off the list price… the regular price hasn’t been changed in years. I hope that helps!!

The students’ answer sheet was very organized with two columns and it made it easier for me to check their work. I used this to review personification with my students.

I bought this one and the simile and metaphors task cards. I was unable to implement in class the way I wanted to use it. It would not work for me so I had to adapt but I appreciate the thoroughness of your work.
