I in a self-contained special education classroom and sometimes teaching figurative language can be a little frustrating, but I get it. With this product we were able to offer more assistance, more practice and more clarification. I love the way each one is broken down and the students are able to practice. Great for one-on-one intervention and for individual assessments. Just laminate them and use a dry erase marker. Thank you so much for this resource!

  269. Nancy B

A great supplement for distance learning.

  270. In Medias Grades

I enjoyed this resource, although the use of it wasn’t as seamless as I’d hope with virtual learning. I wish that either the task cards were made into Google Slides or in Google Forms already to really market it as “digital”. It was still very “physical material-friendly” when I attempted to use it, but I just made the forms myself and made it into slides myself.

UPDATE: I see that it’s been updated and there are Google versions of the materials, so it’s more “digital learning” friendly now.

  271. Sharon L

These were exceptional resources to use with distance learning!

I am very pleased with the overall quality of this product. It’s a very nice supplement to my current ELA unit. I haven’t used all parts yet, but there is a typo in Hyperboles task card #8 “I want to cookies everyday.” And I can’t made changes when the online and pdf files are locked.
