This puns boom cards deck includes:
52 task cards (4 instructional pages for puns and 48 puns task cards with a variety of questions).
- The first 4 instructional task cards include the definitions of puns and a few examples of common puns.
- Task cards 5-40 are questions where your students must first find the word(s) in the sentence that make it a pun. Then they must use that same sentence and write the other word that could take the puns place. There are “hints” at the bottom to help your students get them correct.
- Task cards 41- 52 are multiple-choice questions where your students will have to select the two meanings of each of the puns.
This resource is completely digital. As students answer each question, they will receive immediate feedback. This helps students practice independent learning while strengthening skills.
