I’ve used this for several years now. It’s been a lot of fun for students and parents. I make it an optional home activity for our mid-winter break (ski week). I encourage parents to add letters or photos, and add in some work samples, class photos, and letters to students. I set the “Open” date for spring of their Senior Year, when it’s so crazy and stressful with college acceptance/rejection, as a way of lightening the mood by reminding them of their good times and what they were like in first-grade.

The pages provided are fantastic – really allows students to give a comprehensive look at who they were in first grade. Thank you!
