Description
Types of Sentences Activities BUNDLE:
Do your students need to learn about interrogative, declarative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences? This BUNDLE brings together types of sentences via task cards, anchor charts, and a sorting activity in one product to save you money!
This bundled activity pack was created for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students and can be printed or used digitally.
These files contain the following:
- Three informational sheets about sentences types
- 36 task cards covering interrogative, declarative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences
- Answer sheets
- 36 types of sentences sorting cards
- An extension page where students have the opportunity to rewrite eight sentences from the sorting cards into a new type of sentence
Please note that sentences on the cards DO NOT have end punctuation marks on purpose, as that is one way to identify interrogative, declarative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences. Students should be able to identify types of sentences without the end punctuation.
NOTE: THESE FILES ALSO INCLUDE DIGITAL DISTANCE LEARNING OPTIONS!
These products include a digital option (as well as the no prep printable option). The digital portion instructions appear at the end of each packet.
These are the individual product links for this these types of sentences activities included in this bundle:
These files contain over 65 pages + Google Slides™.

This is an awesome resource, but it does take a while to load due to all the graphics. I would have loved to see the sorting cards or task cards in a 4×4 format per page rather than 2×2
