Synonyms and Antonyms Task Cards and Anchor Charts Activities with a Digital Option:
This standards-aligned synonyms and antonyms activity is perfect for 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students (though some 3rd-grade students may be able to use it with help) and contains:
- 48 task cards (24 synonym cards and 24 antonym cards with two distinct questions types for each)
- An answer sheet
- An answer key
- One printable for synonyms
- One printable for antonyms
- Answer keys for each printable
- Digital options in Google Slides AND Google Forms
Please note that the instructions for the task cards allow students to use reference sources such as a dictionary or thesaurus (as indicated in the common core).

The task cards provide a variety of different skills. I wish they were smaller, as they are 2 per page. There is also a couple printables, one synonym and one antonym. It would be nice if each type was made for both skills. I look forward to using this with my kids for independent work and a quick skills check. Thanks!

As a “ push-in teacher@ for 4-6th grade,
Was able to quickly use one page for preassessment, then do a family feud game aloud with targeted vocabulary and wrap up using a new but same preassessment page as a post- assessment. We even did charades with antonyms. One side of classroom, acted out a word on task card, other side of room had to reply acting out the correct answer. Many different ways to use multi sensory learning!!!
