This resource doesn’t take much time to prep. I made copies on color paper, cut, and laminated them so I could store them for future use. Each morning, I share an affirmation that I feel my students can relate to and I have them share their feelings or point of view on the affirmation. I post each day’s affirmation on the wall near the classroom door, and we reference past ones as needed. My goal is to have a wall of affirmations by the end of the school year.

My class does Daily Affirmations, and these cards create great conversation starters as well as reminders. They enhance our Growth Mindset board so beautifully and help keep me on track when I start to feel frustrated. Print, laminate a set for your wall, and have kids copy them into a journal. I used this during our Owen & Mzee unit on an emergency SUB day! The digital resource was perfect to assign via google classroom at home. I loved that my students were able to independently review multiple skills with our current text.
These task cards are set-up for easy use by the students in the Google classroom. The text is engaging and with the recommendation for 3rd grade to 6th grade, all students have an opportunity to have success.

The task cards work wonderfully in literacy centers. They provide quick review and serve to upgrade student’s writing. Environment skill support is essential, and the anchor charts provide the scaffolding needed by many.
This was the best resource I have found for teaching my students strategies for figuring out unknown words. We completed one of each type of activity in a whole group setting. Then they practiced with a partner before doing their independent practice. My students were highly successful with this resource. Thank you!

I loved everything in this resource. My fifth graders loved the flipbook. They reflected and practiced self-awareness, which is something we covered in SEL. I did this at the end of the year as a fun activity.

OH MY GOSH…BEST PURCHASE FOR STATE TESTING!!!! My kids absolutely LOVED these and looked forward to them everyday we tested! I gave the the My Test Taking Sticky Notes page the morning of testing. I explained that every day they came into class, they would find a motivational sticky note on their desk. During the test, I randomly walked around and placed a sticky note on their desk. I took note of who was getting frustrated, who needed some encouragement, or who was doing great and working hard. I found the post-it note that best fit the situation. I love these motivational sticky notes! They are so cute and absolutely perfect for the upcoming STAAR test! My kiddo is in 3rd grade and this is her first time taking the test along with her classmates. The teacher sent out a “prepare for the test” check list and it included Bring A Snack so I immediately stepped up and offered to send snacks for both classes that my daughter has and taped a little note to each snack for every kid. The teachers loved them and so did the kids.
I printed the notes onto cardstock and had my cricut cut them out for me. They came out colorful and super fun! I will be sure to come back in the future to see what else I can find on this site. My first purchase here was 100% a success!
